Wear Red for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women

ISN ERG Logo and Red Hand Logo

The Indigenous Sovereign Nations (ISN) employee resource group is inviting everyone to wear red on May 5, and attend marches and rallies to raise awareness and fight against the injustice that is happening to Indigenous women.

A red hand over the mouth has become the symbol for the movement. It represents silence of the media, law enforcement, and the oppression and subjugation of Indigenous women rising to say #NoMoreStolenSisters.

Indigenous women make up a significant portion of the missing and murdered cases. The murder rate is ten times for Indigenous women, than the national average of women.
