Mini County Administration Center Building on Exhibit at Legoland

County Building made of LEGOs

The votes are in! LEGOLAND visitors voted about which San Diego landmarks they wanted to see built into its new MINILAND USA exhibit. The County Administration Center building made the list and you can see it shrunk down into 1:20 scale brick model form in the MINILAND San Diego exhibit which debuted March 23.

LEGO master builder architects used 56,000 bricks to construct the CAC building, and it took 200 hours to build. Other San Diego landmarks include Balboa Park, the Santa Fe Station, Petco Park, the San Diego County Fair, San Diego Convention Center, Hotel del Coronado, and the Coronado Bay Bridge.

Coming soon to the MINILAND CAC will be wedding scenes in the park as well as the Star of India, which is across from our building.

Do You Have a Question About Ethics?

Let the games begin with a few fun ways for employees to learn the Code of Ethics:

You can submit the completed Scavenger Hunt to OEC by email to be entered in an opportunity drawing. Online participants are automatically entered.

Interested in ways to champion ethics in the workplace? Consider the below:

By the Office of Equity and Racial Justice

Have you heard of the Government Alliance on Race and Equity (GARE)? And did you know you can access its collection of tools, resources and events for free with just your County email?

GARE is a national network of government working to achieve racial equity and advance opportunities for all. The Alliance leads with race, with the recognition that the creation and perpetuation of racial inequities has been baked into government, and that racial inequities across all indicators for success are deep and pervasive. They also know that other groups of people are still marginalized, including those based on gender, sexual orientation, ability and age.
